This product does the trick for me. No need to pay a much higher price for all the "extra" worming preventatives -- especially since my dogs do not have any or come into contact with other canines who do. We tend to over medicate our pets. My philosophy is, when worms are non-life threatening (like round, hook, whip or tape), treat only when they are present.
